You are a teacher whether you are a traditional teacher in a classroom setting, paraprofessional, instructor, coach, college professor or therapist. When you are interacting and guiding children you are a teacher.
As a teacher, Dr. Helen taught children who were three years old. As a college professor she taught young adults who were twenty-three. In both scenarios Dr. Helen was guiding the students she was working with. As a teacher you support the potential of children as they grow mentally, emotionally, physically and intellectually. How does the process of teaching begin?
With self-reflection. When it comes to teaching you want to bring children the best version of yourself. One approach for self-development is to see what makes you tick and how to bring those natural talents forward. Through coaching sessions with Dr. Helen, you are able to reflect on where you are and what you want your path forward to be. Coaching sessions are available with or without completing an assessment.Still, there are different tools that are available as the foundation for coaching sessions. If you are agreeable to completing the CliftonStrengths® Assessment, Dr. Helen is able to utilize this tool as her framework for coaching. When you complete your assessment, you will schedule your initial free coaching session with Dr. Helen. Through coaching with Dr. Helen, clients will gain an appreciation for their individual, dynamic traits and create a path to live the life they envision.

Teachers and Home-Schooling parents begin the school year by examining where their students are (academically, socially and physically) and developing a plan for how their students can learn best.
Are they visual, auditory or kinesthetic learners? What are their multiple intelligences? Dr. Helen
has another tool for your toolbox. J.U.M.P. © is an assessment protocol to discover a child’s unique
way of thinking, behaving and viewing the world. Once purchased and you are trained and understand all elements of the assessment protocol, the J.U.M.P. © Program can be used over and over again.
A teacher can offer the J.U.M.P. © Questioning verbal assessment individually or with small groups.
The J.U.M.P. © Independent written assessment could be given individually or to an entire class.
The J.U.M.P. © Questioning verbal assessment is geared toward children ages 8-11 and if preferred the written is available for children 12-16+. After the questioning analysis is completed, the results
would impact designing classroom activities and planning curriculum that allows each child to shine.
In the school setting, Dr. Helen recommends launching the J.U.M.P. © Program with one or two classes and then consider expanding the program to the entire school. J.U.M.P. © can be adapted for use with Home-Schooling pods. The final step would be a program Dr. Helen has for the children to gain an understanding of the skills and potentials of their classmates through hands-on activities. Reach out to Dr. Helen to discuss the many possibilities.
