Are mornings hectic? Does getting out of the house leave you frustrated before you have even started your day? Life is challenging when you are responsible for yourself and your family members. Dr. Helen is married, a mother of three adult children and three grandchildren. When her children were younger, she worked full-time, commuted ninety-minutes daily and worked with her partner to get the kids to dance lessons, basketball games and squeeze in time for a family vacation.
Dr. Helen understands the hectic life of a family. Whether you live in a dual-parent household, a single-parent household or whatever the dynamics are for your living arrangement. You want to be the best version of yourself as an individual, as well as a caregiver for your child, whether you are a parent, grandparent, guardian or childcare provider. Let Dr. Helen guide you as you find calm within the chaos and delve deep into who you are authentically. Two options for coaching are starting from where you are or using the CliftonStrengths® Assessment. Your first session will begin with a discussion of where you are now and exploration of the possible paths before you.
If you have completed the CliftonStrengths® Assessment then that will be the foundational framework for coaching sessions. Schedule your initial free coaching session with Dr. Helen to see if you are a match to work together. Would you hesitate if you were asked to offer coaching for your child to enable them to be more confident, have improved self-awareness, enhance their skills in school and appreciate who they are? Well then, give yourself the gift of self-care and schedule your coaching session with Dr. Helen.
J.U.M.P.© Questioning Program by Helen Mele Robinson, PhD for children ages 8-16+

Dr. Helen has worked with children who do not show respect to others. What she realized was, how can
they respect others when they do not love and respect themselves. Whether the child was receiving
negative comments from parents or teachers, the impact can be devastating to a child. They take in the
message of, “You are bad” or “You are stupid” and it becomes the negative self-talk they ruminate in
their minds. The script needs to be changed and the environment in home and school needs to be a
respectful and accepting arena. I know, easier said than done. The disconnect may be in not fully
understanding how the child thinks, behaves and views the world from their perspective. Not from the
viewpoint of how the adult thinks they should perceive the landscape. Now there is an assessment tool
available to reveal the inner workings of a child’s mind. That is the J.U.M.P.© Questioning Program
offered by Dr. Helen.
Support a child’s potential and watch it bloom. Suppress the curiosities you observe and they will
diminish and go away. As adults we have the responsibility to allow children to be who they are, not
who we want them to be. Are you quiet and your child is a chatterbox? Do you prefer one or two close
friends and your child wants to befriend everyone? Each person is different with special skills, talents
and inclinations and that should be celebrated. Learn about your child’s individuality and work with a
Family Dynamics Coaching Specialist to support their potential skills that are emerging. Schedule your
child’s J.U.M.P.© Questioning session to begin the process!
